Weekend Special Other Rue de Seine Payton Gown

The Payton gown has a subtly fitted silhouette through the bust, waist and upper hips, and wonderful fullness in the skirt with a generous train (you should see this thing twirl). The sleeves are fitted to the elbow then flare out into draped fullness around your wrists. There is a keyhole detail in the chest construction, with two lace layers through bust and an open low back. There is also a lace half-slip to give the dress an edgy sheerness, but only where you want it most (ie not your crotch, obvi). The sleeves and the lace are what originally drew me to this dress. I was looking for a bohemian lace dress that didn't look like it was made of curtain fabric. The lace on this dress is perfection. The whole look is bohemian, designer but withou the appearance that you're trying too hard, sexy without being "too sexy" with just a dash of rock and roll thrown in. I originally bought this dress only a couple of weeks ago for my wedding that's coming up this August 2018 (from a no-returns store), but ultimately decided on a gown with less fabric on top considering that August is going to be blistering hot at my wedding venue, and the less fabric the better. If you live in Northern California, I'm happy to have you over to try it on!
