Teresa Gown - Hayley Paige: I married the love of my life in this dress. As an "older", first-time (and last) bride, I know that I will not be having a daughter to pass this dress down. I would love someone else to have the good mojo and experience the love story of this dress that I did. When my husband saw me walk down the aisle, his jaw dropped. I've never received so many compliments, but the look on his face was best of all.
As a curvy bride, I ran into some walls when I started searching for wedding gowns. I wanted a flowy gown that moved with me when I walked, but I also wanted everything to stay in place. I didn't want to have to wear something incredibly structured just because I have a little jiggle-in-my-wiggle. Most wedding gowns look alike to me and I wanted unique. This is a high-end gown by a top designer. It's elegant, classy, and most flattering. It's reminiscent of the gowns from the golden age of film. It looks like something Elizabeth Taylor would wear. The fabric drapes over your hips into a gorgeous silhouette, perfect for ladies with hourglass hips. The bodice is absolutely stunning. The pictures just don't do it justice. It's completely covered in crystals. This has the ultimate wow factor!
In it's original form, this gown had zero support, which is fine if you're graced with a smaller bust line. I'm not, so I went to the best seamstress in the city (she also designs her own dresses) and it was altered to perfectly enhance a larger bustline. There were cups added and boning to the bodice that can easily be removed if you need further alterations. I had absolutely no sagging or bouncing throughout the entire day/evening. Everything held up perfectly. I felt completely comfortable and gorgeous!
My measurements: Chest - 39inches, Waist - 30inches, Hips - 40inches. I usually wear a size 12 dress/pants and i'm 5'8" (wore flats on my wedding day).
